Last Sunday i met with visweswara reddy(who lost from uravakonda),He is telling because of some congress people only he lost the elections.
He is going to file a case in HIGH Court for RE counting.

Can you give your honest opinion how can indian govt will help and monitor atricities against indian students in foreighn countries.

Prabhakar brother, oversees Indians (students or folks coming for work) in the past used to maintain low profile when they are alone and also try not to go around to the shady areas during nights. but now a days the quality of indians going abroad is not that good (thanks to NJR, CBN & YSR for making education commercial). Any tom and dick can get an engineering degree and with the money they have, they are able to fly oversees for higher studies eventhough they are not qualified. in the past when there were less educational institutions and money was tight, students quality was lot better. In fact you have posted your background sometime back, which was very touching and that's why you don't end up in trouble. Can you think all the students that are coming over now are as savvy as you (I mean street smart). They just have money back home and going abroad now a days is just a fashion and prestige. In the past it was more like a life changing thing.
My opinion, the students have to do what they are supposed to do and keep off from the unnessary things till they get graduated.
May be I am 100% wrong, but that's my opinion.
BTW, what can the government do? if the culprits are caught, the local government are acting on behalf of the victims anyway. It's in our own hands to keep us safe and stay away from shady areas. The govt. will/can always have a dialogue with AUS/US governments, but the governments can't help us if we put ourselves in the harms way. Why are we seeing so many incidents against telugu people and not against tamilians? or Mallus? or Gujjus? We see few against Sikhs as they wear turbans and that's one of the reason there were hate crimes against them during 9/11 (I heard about them, i was a student in India at that time). Telugu & Tamil folks look alike, but majority of the victims that we are hearing about are Telugu folks. This makes me think that we are not being careful and we are getting carried over more than we are supposed to. Peace.
