Had good sleep during the day today. I was awsome feeling did not sleep whole day saturday - making calls and receiving calls. Saturday night only 4 hours sleep watching sakshi re-runs of news and making calls to friends in India.

I think funds will be a big hurdle for YSR in thie term. Real estate is down and software is down. Income for state will be down. He has to come up with ways to ge more funds. Plase post any suggestions to make money guys :)

Funds may be a problem, especially with Real Estate going to be down all over the state, ....I dont think IT will make any difference, they never paid any taxes in the first place and moreover they were a huge white elephant as far as the state was concerned, what with their constant and sanctimonious demands for subsidies, freebies etc...
In fact one way of getting some income atleast is to tax these IT firms..Despite the downturn, a lot of them are making millions, but dont realise their basic duty of having to pay taxes....they have got huge doles from the Government...the state can give a fait accompli.....but this has to be done in conjunction with other Governments (like that overrated fellow Modi)...always willing to bend over backwards to please IT Companies and Editors of pulp newspapers....
There should be some mechanism of collecting more taxes from the super rich...we have enough of them in AP.....it is politically also not much of a risk....I am sure there are so many enterprises who managed to influence the Government, particularly during Babus time to get expemtions from paying taxes (I heard Prasad IMax got subsdies under the "Tourism Promotion" category)
