Really it is heart breaking some thing that the implementation of schemes went in to doldrums.I think any govt should take responsbility in implementation and to reach the needy.
I am just following some news articles on Sakshi after polls.I did see many news items than before polls.
I believe this is the matter for opposition to say that people are not with cong even they had lot of schemes announced than ever before AP history.
If somebody announces schemes left and right which has not reached needy.The credibility is at stake and this may not give such a high expected positive vote.
Other thing probably Cong has become so complacent with their schemes and praising YSR and ignored schemes credibility may leda to negative voting.
People also felt at some point any govt should announce some schemes because that is their kinda birth right and some people thought politicians are just giving only peanuts and large sums has been amassed by political biwigs and stupid beurocrats.This other reason where people think for negative vote who did not get benefitted.
Above all the reasons when the time has come to announce or reassure commitment on existing schemes was not taken care of well by cong.
That is the reason why new announcements of schemes will benefit their party (TDP)in a better way because all above reasons and people selfishness.
I am just kinda pessimistic thoughts of mine.I just wnat to share.I do not is there any affect on positive voting despite YSR brave and honest efforts.
I think people should change their attitudesand culture otherwise, no way one can implement such a huge and intricate schemes.God bless india.
This is only thing bothering me at core my heart when DR YSR has been billed so much to justify.God bless YSR and People will definitely thank YSR for his honest efforts in AP political history.

Hope everything is going on well with you and here i am quite comfortable about our winning with a huge majority and giving the info to our party people.
However i just wanted to let you know about the bettings going on in Andhra & America too !!
In Andhra lot of bettings are going on but i just wanted to let you know about my own village Kollipara as example (Guntur Dist ).
My village is just Mandal Head quarters and all the Assembly elections out of 13 Duggirala constituency 12 times congress won only one time lost in 1983 that too congress gave seat to SC candidate Gollapudi Vedantha Rao and TDP gave to local candidate MV Sivarama Krishna Reddy.
Now in the delimitation process Kollipara Mandal Joined in Tenali constituency and one of the hot race is going on between congress candidate Nadendla Manohar and TDP candidate Alapati Rajendra Prasad, Ex Minister. It is kind of tight race as per the political analysts.
Kollipara Villagers ( Mostly farmers only they don't even know who is contesting from most of the constituencies in Rayalaseema or Telangana area, if you look at them you don't even believe they are betting lakhs of rupees ) are Anna YSR big fans and congress party supporters since generations, betting against Tenali Town Business people as we don't find in our village to bet from the opposite parties.
As of now in my village 1.5 crore Rupees betting completed so far and i am sure still it goes on until May16th .
1) Anna YSR forming on his own Government ( My family members betted 2 lakhs so far on this and looking forward to more).
2) Guntur dist minimum 9 seats our party winning.
3) Chiranjeevi wins in only one not two ( Tirupathi or Palakollu ).
4) Nadendla Manohar winning ( even people are not confident about Manohar but they are only just confident about our leader ).

In America our Yuvasena members already betted as shown below.
1) Anna YSR with forms the government on his own.
2) Krishna Distrtict Minimum 8 seats out of 16.

4) Anantapur Minimum 8 seats out of 14.
5) Winning of diffrent MP seats like VJA, Eluru, Bandar, Narasaraopet, Guntur etc.
6) YS Jagan's majoirity 3 Lakhs plus in Kadapa Parlimentary constituency.
Number of Yuvasena members in America are ready to bet on the formation of govt our own but not getting bets from opposite side.
If any Politicians / Senior journalists want to sense what is in side of the EVM / doubts / confusion about our party victory, ask them to look once at theconfidence in the eyes of Kollipara village farmers that gives very clear picture of Anna YSR winning with a Thumping majority.
Finally i sincerely believe that our villagers is going to get crores of rupees & Yuvasena members gets thousands of dollars as i also belong to Kollipara !!

Sad part of our democracy is good and efficient people are not elected by electorate, take the case of PM manmohan singh,, people may defeat him if he contest direct elections,, thats the nature of our people.

Not to disappoint you, but my guess is that Vundavalli is going to loose for sure. If my assessment is any correct, he may end up at 3rd place. There are many factors - But dent in kapu votes (due to PRP), Dent in SC votes (due to the Ambedkar's controversy) are the main contributors (loss of traditional congress vote bank)...Again these are my views & can be validated only on 16th.

A few days some one on this blog was saying about the need to inject Young blood in the T-region to strengthen the party.
I have been talking to various people from the region and myself being a Telanganite.
I made a few observations:
1)T-region lo always Party ki ekkuva importance istaru rather than Person. Party idealogies and Stand on various issues should be clear and stable.
2) I feel that the Top-brass should try and encourage leaders with Good mass following as well as Technocrats. I mean the leaders who can balance both. With changing times, we need more of technocrats to attract youth.
Daggupati Purandarewari is a perfect example.
3)And about seperate Telangana, they should be able to solve the issue for once and all rather than dragging it time and again. Not so easy but atleast they must be able to clear all the doubts and fears created in the minds of the people by oppurtunistic leaders like KCR.
I was following Priyanka Gandhi's Campaign closely.
Shez so charismatic,wise,humble and such a pleasing personality ala Indiraji and Rajivji.

My 2 cents on Educated Politcians...
First of all there is no anecdotal or empirical evidence of highly educcated elected representatives doing better their less endowed counterparts...in fact, some of the best politician/administrators in this country have been people of limited education - Kamaraj Nadar is the first that comes to my mind...several like him, not only efficient and people-centric but incredibly honest.
In fact the current brigade in Parliament with fancy degrees from Harvard and its likes have performed miserably as parliamentarians...patronage politics may win them elections, but their contribution to law-making has been minimal....even the much feted Purandareswari has little to show besides praise for some seniors, good elocution skills and some really funny gaffes...
In fact, recent experience with some IIT/IIM formations has shown how miserably incapable these people are in terms of their ability to represent the public. Major reason is they are so full of their own achievements, that they think it sufficient reason for people to vote for them. Never mind, they dont have a concrete agenda, but somehow their academic achievements give them a god granted status of rulership (like our N vamsam -:))...and most of the times, achievement is not in terms of research done or insightful new knowledge created, but what entrance exams you have cleared..that makes the tragedy even more pitiful....
Part of the reason why TDP tried to curry favor with the middle classes as the party with more "educated" people is our Middle Class obsession with fancy degrees.....thats why CBN fans try to credit him with a fictitous Ph.D which he never had.....
And again it is the degree, not the learning that matters...so much so that a Ramaiah whose occupation is to make sure that a handful of extremely bright and talented individuals make it through an entrance exam, has more image and brand name amongst our middle classes than a thorough technocrat like MS Swaminathan or Sam Pitroda....
This middle class attention inflated our Ramaiah guy so much that he seriously fancies himself an educationist...dont think he even understands the spirit of what an educationist stands for...

putting children under tremendous pressure to succeed at any cost.
dont know how many IITn and IIMs are working for the welfare of the country.
coming to the cbn technocrat image,, its just pure misconception , he is not actually what he is,, just shrewd politician who knows how to manipulate gullible people.
IF elections are done on personal image YSR wins unanimously,,
if cbn still exists, its because of his manipulative and decietfull nature.
often wonder how people vote for cbn ,, is just of caste basis or any other factor I dont know.
Also, if you look at some of the detractors that come on to this website, all they say is "Kapu vote is split in Andhra, Reddy vote in Telangana, traditional Cong vote bank split in R'Mundry, Kamma consolidation in Krishna" etc..I have really heard very few people amongst detractors also say that YSR is not getting votes because he failed to address livelihood issues....there is that odd reference to corruption (wow, this phenomenon just originated in May 2004, before that it was non-existent!!!!). That shows how YS has been successful in tackling atleast a few of the more pressing issues...Problems do remain, but there is a visible effort at mitigation....
Now the unfortunate part is, when livelihood issues do not play a critical part because they are not that critical OR there is no "emotional wave", people tend to get polarised on identity issues, which in our state is caste based polarisation....that is exactly what seems to be happening.....

Sarma garu, pichi kukka Palem Srikanth Reddy comments are actually a corollary of the phenomenon I alluded to in my earlier comment on educated politicians...this guy thinks that because he has a fancy degree he is a modern day Tudor with a divine right to rule...thats why his kaaru kutalu on "IQ Tests" etc...this is a fundamentally anti-democratic trend - more dangerous than dynastic politics....

yes it is the "Know it all" attitude that these guys like Palem suffer with. They think common people cannot make decisions and they want to make decisions for them.

Coming to Plem Srikanth Reddy, what bothers me most is not his stupid histrionics. I am even more bothered and frustrated that he is getting a free ride, no one is questioning him, fearing the aura of his wealth and economic success. It just baffles me that even the more mature and educated people in congress and for that matter even general public are not questioning any of his acts. I think vundavalli should have buldozed him. There is ample evidence like TDp winning the majority of seats in kadapa till recenlty. YSR winning even after being house arrested by the yellow party thugs in uniform, the list goes on and on but srikanth reddy got a free ride, people feared to take on his BS, his paid white trash was strolling every where. I see it more as congress/ esp YSR/Jagan's failure to not be able to address this lunatic appropriately, even when all the facts are on over side. May be they acted too cautiously, not to give chanc for any negative publicity and make this stupid a here, may be they are right in not responding to him, but atleast people like vundavalli should have crushed this pompous retard.
