Tendulkar is not the right example for a sweep shot player, he is best known for offside and straight bat plays :-). Indians are not best known for sweep shots, anyway it's my opinion. I just hope it's congress who wins, but the math is not working out in favor of Congress in coastal dt. You may be right in Seema, let's see.

Sorry folks, I didn't mean to upset any one over here. I meant the additions and subtractions were not done properly in this elections. It's not an easy race (you guys have voiced the same opinion here multiple times, and I just wanted to add my 2 cents) and there WILL be suprises, see the word in caps. I will check back here after May 26th and if at all congress wins which I wish should happen I will congratulate all you folks.

TDP is spending more money there.TDP candidate is getting lot of funds from his community and they are spending too much.
Sarma garu, I am up for the challange. I love to gamble with my money by betting against the team that I like (it's congress in this case) to take a chance so that even if my team looses I can still celebrate with my money. But if my team wins, I will think "what the heck, i only lost money". My feeling here that you guys are very optimistic and I fear that it might not work out. I am thinking it will be a hung and MK will get around 110, Congress around 110 and the rest for PRP and Indys.

but they swung to YSR as he became their torch bearer for andhra and seema

Shikar - I raised all the points you did few days back....Well, you can not convince anyone here (afterall they are fans...hence are biased, like you & I).....Thats true here & any other fans website.....Only May16th will let us know who is right & wrong....! So, don't sweat!!
I agree with you to "some" extent...Krishna, Guntur & WG - MK is going to get more seats than congress....That's my assessment....
It appears the news has not caught as much attention as we all feared it would. After all, Chiranjeevi was treated well by the police, no PRP cadre or Chiranjeevi was harmed, his room was not searched. So it wont flare up as expected, even if the old fellow projects it. Because most Kapus may not read Eenadu. Also, TDP may not want to make Chiranjeevi a hero last moment.

I dont think all Kapus are voting based on caste or community. 70% may. Those who get infleunced like this already voting for PRP. This incident wont change it. Those, especially rural voters and farmers, wont care for this. They will vote Congress - Polavaram is made a big issue here.
Also, only 60-65% Kapus voted for Congress in 2004. TDP had several big Kapu leaders who know joined TDP, especially in Godavari districts. So, Kapu damage to Congress is not as much as its talked about. Anyway, rural voters may not even look at this.
And in seema, it has zero impact, even in Tirupati, because the rival castes also get polarised and Congress was not going to get their votes anyway.
I expect the Congress winning margins in Costa and seema to be big, very big. A 2-3% swing, even if it were to happen, will not make a difference.
Congress will get 80% of all non Kapu, non Kamma vote in Godavari districts. Thats 56% of total. No one cares for these two community votes. If you dont believe, check May 16th.
Seema, TDP will not get more than three seats in total. Their vote share will plummet sharply. Their leader is camping in Kuppam. This is bullshit spread by bloggers and leaders.
This Palem fellow of flop Four Soft (mega flop IT company) wants IQ tests for candidates. This shows where he stand and what he thinks of his winning chances.
Friends, Keep updating election trend tonight. We should get 110 in phase 2. Ask all your family members and friends to vote for cong.

I watched Chiru episode on TV9 yesterday near my office with some kapu collegueas and you should have see their face .
When I met Kapu/chiru fan friends last night, they were so angry than ever before, I think this incident has definitely caused some dent to congress prospects.
Atleast for Tirupathi is concerned , Congress dropped the ball I think.

This is part of Jammalamadugu constituency and congress is very strong 2 mandals, 2 mandals - they might get few thousand votes majority. Yerraguntla was part of Mysoora's constituency - recently moved to J'madugu...this is their only hope to give some tough fight...they are trying to create problems to congress agents..sakshi tv/news reporters are heavily focussed to report any news for re-polling ..that is the strategy..safe to have re-polling than booth capturing by TDP - Mysoora agents..nothing to worry...they can do this in about 10-15 polling booths..we are looking at 10 to 11000 votes in these booths

In Tarlupadu mandal const. TDP agents didn't allow cong agents to booth and tear down their agent forms. Cumbum mla U Srinivas Reddy went there and all TDP people obstructed him to go into village and staged demonstration before his car. Still he moved his car over a person, which cause serious injuries to him. Then all villagers got raged on him and house arrested him.
But I still believe this incident don't cause much damage to the cong votes.
2nd Update : called several places..nothing to worry...so far everything is cool...my main focus is in r'seema + nellore + prakasam + guntur....dont have much info from krishna/godavari districts at this time. no major issues to report...one small incident in Markapur constituency...cumbum MLA gunman and some TDP agents fight..
Unknown trends yet...congress cader is working great so far...
some positive news from madanapalle, anantapur rural area(near rapthadu)...lot of congress sympathizers ....looks like we can unseat paritala sunita...based on what I am hearing...topudurthi brothers & co are mobilizing lot of agents for poll enthu....

So far wherever we are strong - Kadapa,Chittoor,Anantapur,Nellore,Prakasam,Guntur ...things are looking really good...lot of women/minority/christian voters..
Polling is about 10-15 % in most of the places. TDP is behaving badly in several places...looking desparate to creat problems..
Congress cader and leaders are very confident...My brother spoke to YV Bhadra reddy garu again...
Wherever there is tough fight, TDP is creating lot of issues, they are sending some more agents to those ares - in prakasam/guntur/kadapa/anantapur districts...chittor/kurnoon no information.
Nothing to worry....Phase 2 is in more agressive areas and that is expected...nothing to worry so far.
Rapthadu/Tirupati is really looking good based on several good reliable sources..Markapur is looking bit bad (honest) from congress side...we might loose this lone seat in Prakasam based on what I am hearing so far...
Tarlupadu mandal is looking really like a TDP bastion based on few more calls....Other than that...everything is good so far..
Can somebody throw some light from godavari districts please..I have no contacts in this area at all..
